I took 200k worth of "perks" instead of the standard 100k raise when I re-upped. Keeps more money in my pocket, and the boss doesn't have to pay more cash for taxes, healthcare, and pension.

Oh yup, makes sense. I got the increase in housing allowance in "perks", instead of moving apts.
