F-2-1 is a marriage and work visa...suposedly you can work with it while not under the F-2....but as far as I know no-one at immi really knows and even fewer of them seem to care. The 1 seems to be nothing more than a formality. |

Very strange.
So somewhere somehow, someone decided lets have an F2 and and F-2-1 but no one knows what the difference is exactly, even immigration.
I have heard that F-2-1 is marriage and work and F2 is marriage. Can anyone confirm this?
I have searched everywhere but I can't find anything conclusive.
Thanks |

As far as I know there is no difference. The F2 is a marriage visa. There is an F1 visa which is issued to people visiting dependents/relatives in Korea which gives the right to stay but not to work.Maybe this is what the F2-1 gets confused with |

I have an F-2-1. It's for marriage and work. I'm not sure what the difference is in an F-2. |
