Hi There,
Maybe that is because you are not in Kansas any more toto.
Koreans often rent villa in the country but near the sea traditionally there are often people who open a room for the night where you can stay and rent by the night and it is nice. These are called Min bak.
Or there are even yogwon and general cheap hotels around half the time.
At the mountains accomodation is often not too much of a problem.
I've been to Seorak mountain, which is beautiful and 3 and a half hours from seoul. |
