I genuinely believe in karma now....
I have always been the type of person to place large amounts of money in blind peoples/beggars hands... to help anybody who needs something but can't afford it etc - (and not because I am rich... actually I always seem to be broke)...
however I just discovered that Karma really does come back around...
One month ago I wanted a new apartment closer to my school (for convenience) but didn't have any savings. Then just like that... (out of the blue) one of the Korean teachers who works with me (very generously gave me 10,000,000 won for the key deposit... just like that (she said it was because she thought I was a kind, genuine person)
that was last week... this week I went to the dentist to have another tooth filled.. and the Dentist put a gold filling and gold cap in - and told me it was free because a "Friend" - (no names mentioned) had already paid for it - because they had heard that I volunteer my Sundays helping kids at the orphanages....
I can only say "wow..... karma really works"........ and who do I thank?
I am interested in hearing any other Karma stories....

Wow, I guess we shouldn't feel so sorry for the poor overworked darlings who make half as much as we do, doing the same job? |

I don't want to be the grinch who stole Christmas, but karma does not work. It is just a mistake in cause/effect thinking.
Having said that, I do think it is a great idea if everyone would act/pretend like karma is a scientific fact. Being nice to other people would make life a lot more comfortable.
SO...congrats on the new place. Pass on the good deed. |

i get a kick outa you dudes who have to have everything explained by 'scientific fact' ... quite simply, karma in essence means...what goes around, comes around. give off bad vibes...and they come back to you.... give off good ones and good ones return. you need scientific fact to prove this works?? |

my best karma story was when i was flying from kuala lumpur to amsterdam. in the international departure area i was approached by a nepalese man who said he had no money and was trapped at the airport. i gave him $10 and he was overwhelmed with joy. when i boarded the airplane, to my dismay, i was bumped up to first class, a private cabin upstairs on the 747. the seat reclined like a bed, private video and game library, immaculate food and drinks, hot towels, port wine. 13 hours of pure bliss, 35,000 feet up. was it karma or coincidence? who knows, but it was great! |
