Stickers of the Canadian flag, patches of the Canadian flag, the Canadian flag, toothpicks with the Canadian flag on it, and a backpack (with Canadian flag on it) to store all these items. |

Have a look at the FAQs... scroll down to the second entry "Getting Organised to Come to Korea" and you'll find a bunch of threads there. |

Have another farewell party just in case. Might as well get on the plane tired and grumpy. That way you can sleep on the plane because its gong to be a LONG flight. |

Someone recommended a Downy ball for fabric softener which is not a bad idea if you've got the space. Comfort food and lots of pictures of your family, are always safe bets |

Nah, the downy ball is just a cool little gadget, so you don't have to remember when to add the fabric softener- you put the fabric softener in it and toss it into the wash along with clothes. Idiot proof-yay! |

you'll have a big problem finding deodorant here and if u do find it expect to pay 4 or 5 times as much as in canada, i brought mine with me and toothpaste but u can get korean TP here but i think it sucks. also bring peanut butter because that's rediculously expensive here. u also my have a problem finding ur "brand" of female "products". bring double the money u have in ur hand now. 2 million won should be enough to get u through until payday. u'll have to buy food when u land and maybe some odds and ends like pots and whatever, it's better to bring too much than not enough, i was in the not enough category when i first came here. have a great flight |

Ditto on deodorant. Can be found, but bring a supply.
Pics of family are important. Even of stupid stuff you see everyday... like your home or cars. People here like to see that. |

Last minute words...hmm lets see....
Sure, here goes:
Good luck
Enjoy yourself
Get ready for a big change
Korea is not Canada...and thats a good thing (otherwise it would be boring).
Different does not mean inferior or bad.
Pack light!!!!
If you forget somethings you can always buy them here or order them online. |
