So, the update is available now. I simply right-clicked it and chose 'hide'. It seems to have gone!

aaaargh......it's a pirates life for me!!

(I really hope this isn't pride before a fall!!)

Hide it for now, but before long it will be mandatory. SP1 will contain it, for sure; that is due out shortly, mainly for that purpose. Yeah crescent...jump all over that news. Mac doesn't have users, it has fans.

Bit I digress...

I went legit two days ago, but FYI, I downloaded the WAT update and was fine after numerous reboots. Seems it isn't catching on particular loader that uses encryption; the Daz loader 1.7.7, which I was using. Good for 90 days, anyhow, which is when this dynamic form of WAT will be calling home with new exploit crushers....

Other loaders/activation hacks are getting busted by this update. Even BIOS mods are being found.

Feels good to be legit, I gotta say. First software I have bought in 10 years.

Fedora works for me.

It's free and easy to use, you can configure for dual boot so you can keep windows.

You can also get Open Office which works like Office but it's free.

Office is a $350 package from MS.
