I'm laying some groundwork to organize bike polo in Seoul now that the weather is starting to warm up. I'm getting my contacts together and seeing how many people would be interested in playing. If you're interested let me know.
I'm also trying to track down piping for mallet heads and street hockey balls so let me know if you have any knowledge on that.

I saw a group of about 200 Korean nfreds riding their 'pixies' down the road last year. You may want to check around...they might already have a 'pixie' bike polo league already set up. |

I saw your post on the Cycling in Korea Facebook group.
They held an alleycat last year around November that had pretty good attendance. They weren't very fast... but I'm a terrible navigator so it all kind of balanced out.
Anyway, that said, I'm not sure how well bike polo will go over. I could be wrong though.
Contact me via Facebook (I'm Jason, one of the officers of the aforementioned Facebook group) and I'll see if I can't hook you up with the guys who put together the alleycat. They've got connections with the big fixed gear shops in Seoul and would be the fellas to talk to. And of course the shops will be excited to find another thing to import and sell (at an extremely bloated rate). |
