I live in CA but went to school in Arizona - do i have to have my degree notorized by the state I went to college in, or in my current state I live?

Don't get your degree apostillised. I got mine notarised and I can tell you that the ink from the stamp soaked through.

Get a photocopy of your degree then have it
notarised
authenticated, some states require this
then apostillised

You can do all that in sunny Cal.
