this lifeinkorea kid gets my goat. reading his endless, inane tappings every time i click to a new page, i can just picture him all alone; hunched up over his notebook in a grubby, little one-room; eyebrows raised as high as he can get them; head bobbing around in that self-righteous, half-nod-half-shake with a cocky little smirk on his face as he considers just how much smarter than everyone else that next sentence will make him seem.
between this one and the other smug turd with the goaltender avatar, i'm not sure who gives me worse diarrhea. probably this guy by a hair.
frustratingly, i've more than a few times read blatantly worthless people on this site borrowing our nation's flag from its mandatory position on their backpacks to wave it around here (figuratively, of course). If anyone's reading... i swear we're not all like that. well... maybe just most.
ok... i just checked... and, thank god, i remembered wrong. lifeinkorea waves a different flag than the goalie. one of them is enough.
i'm in songdo... if anyone's around here (it's not toooo far from nonhyundong, sheril).
sheril, you live really close to 소래 seafood market. there is some delicious stuff there... not many foreigners though Razz

Hey Sheril, you should join the Incheon group on Couchsurfing.com. And the Seoul group too... you're close enough.

Also, I got an email on Facebook about a club/bar:

Next week, Thursday the 4th, New Teachers Party at the Park. Check out the event page.

http://www.facebook.com/event.php?invites&eid=352396574282

And join The Park group at:

Okay I will simplify this argument lifeinkorea. If it was two stations then there would be two exit #1. There is only 1 exit #1. therefore its one station.

This never was something for argument. It's always been one station since time immemorial (meaning long before my father, nearly 70 years old, was born.)

Actually, it was built in 1899. The roads and railways between Inchon and Seoul were built in the late 19th century. Major stations such as Bupyung, Bucheon, Donginchon, Juan, Seoul, Yongsan... they were all built then.

Inchon has two subway lines so far: Inchon Line One and Inchon Line Two. The Line Two is planned and under construction. The line between Inchon Station and Yongsan Station (in Seoul) is the original railway built in the late 19th century. Inchon Line One was first in operation around 1999, and crosses the traditional Inchon-Yongsan line (called Guk Cheol that now extends to several other places such as Cheonan, Paldang, Yangju...) at Bupyung Station.

It's Noryangjin Station in Seoul (a little west of Yongsan Station) that has TWO stations. It's awkward because on the map it sometimes looks like there is one station but there are actually two. When Seoul Subway Line 9 was being built, the existing Noryangjin Station was not prepared yet to allow for the necessary underground connection to the new Subway Line 9 Noryangjin Station. It will soon be united into one station when the underground connection under construction right now opens to the public.

Labeling it 1 and then specifying it near one of the lines still puts it into 2 groups.

Before you do that, yes it's one station, but it would be easier to know which of the two lines the exit is near. They are colored coded.

Personally, I would rather keep track of 2 colored lines than find out which exit number I need to get out. It's much easier. You get out of a train, look at the color you want to transfer to, and you are good to go. If you need to find an exit, you can eliminate some of the exits by knowing which color you don't have to go to.

Whatever makes you happy Laughing Call it one station, and then divide when you get lost Laughing

Just say the exit number, follow the signs and go from there.

Either way if you want to find the main bar/restaurant Sheril its the block between bupyeong underground exits 24 and 21. Go to either of these exits and then head away from the station and turn onto one of the first side streets and theres all your bars.

For example: N's Pub
Exit 21 bupyeong underground (look up at the yellow/black signs and follow the arrows) You will exit right in front of 3 stands selling meat and fried goods (dont eat them) Walk straight for 5min passed a baskin robins. Continue walking for another 1-2min and you will see a convienence store K25 on the left (there may be a guy sellling hotdogs in a truck here as well) On that sidestreet walk down for about 15ft. Look up and on the second floor is N's pub (black sign with red letters)

Most foreigners go here around 10:30pm its mainly koreans before then. But the entire bar staff speaks decent english as well. It has a darts board and pool table also.

I've just moved into Seo-Gu, Incheon about two weeks ago. Anyone know if there's anything to do in this area or am I likely to need a taxi to Bupyeong quickly?
