I guess this could go under current events... anyway, my girlfriend told me abortion was outlawed just a few days ago. My admittedly vague understanding was that it was illegal anyway, but the law wasn't strictly enforced, and there are plenty of clinics around that will do it.

Now I hear a new law has been passed and those clinics might be on their last legs. As a condom hater and general participant in the old 'pull and pray' form of birth control, I'm a little stressed about this. Has anyone heard more??

Yes, I'm sure that banning the illegal procedure is sure to work in getting rid of abortions Rolling Eyes

Abortion has always been illegal in Korea, except for real medical purposes (i.e. if you have this kid you're going to die).

Dude. Your girlfriend is obviously planting an excuse beforehand. She wants a kid. Wrap it up.

It's been illegal for a long time... but many clinics have continued to do it. In the past few weeks though, there've been a few clinics that have been ratting out the others.

I'm pro-choice and I recognize that birth control and abortion are two very separate issue. Stop being a phallus and use a condom. If both you and your SO are monogamous and have been tested recently (but at least 3-6 months since your last partner), then she ought to be on birth control.

You are acting sexually irresponsible. Legal or not, actual abortions are unpleasant and should be avoided whenever possible. Stop being a cat and wrap that up!

If I could give out good reputations for posts on Dave, I would give you 10. This is sound advice. OP, take heed.

Yeah... unfortunately this isn't a thread asking how to improve ones life. If he wants to make a baby and destroy it every few weeks then we have no place to stop him.

However, there's nothing more to say on this thread, it's pretty self-explained

*ends it*

So... what you're saying is.... South Korea believes infanticide to be immoral?

Wow, those silly Koreans. They're so backwards. Killing babies because they're inconvenient is the cornerstone of civilization. Shocked
