Hey guys, I have another question. I know that in my first month, I don't receive my paycheck, so I am going to be helped financially by having money transferred to my debit card, and from there, pull out cash from the ATM card. I would like to know what places have ATM machines that accept American debit cards (Mastercard), any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Citibank or almost any mini-mart or subway station ATM. The mini-mart and subway station ones have a 100,000 limit per transaction but you can just swipe your card again and use it again so it's not really a limit.

Most convenience stores have ATMs that have foreign card options. Mastercard, I do believe, will be a problem though. I don't think they take Mastercard. It's worth a try though.

Final answer: KB Bank.
When you enter the bank, you will see a row of ATM's. One (maybe 2 in the larger banks) of the ATM's will service foreign cards and provide "Global Service". Make sure you use the "special" ATM, which is specific for these activities. You will figure it out.
KB is a good bank for these types of transactions.

Well, I'm going to be living in Gimhae, a small town but it's next to Pusan. Not sure Itaewon will work, especially since I mostly plan on doing this for the first month in which I get no paycheck. But if there are KB Banks in the area or Citi banks, that would be awesome. Thanks for the help guys.

I usually use GS25.

Sometimes it hasn't worked, though, even though I know my PIN is right.
