I hurt myself at work. The school nurse told me that I'd be OK.
I like to double-check things, so I was considering going to the hospital, but people have posted about hospital horror stories.
Should one trust the school nurse, or get a second opinion at a "hospital of horrors"? |

I've never had a bad time at the hospital! But, I've only been there once, for a bad stomach flu. So... don't worry too much and just go to the hospital, or go to an "International Clinic" if you can.
Seriously, are the hospitals here horrible? Do tell! |

Not sure if this'll help, but Inha Dey Hospital in Incheon is great. They have a foreigner section on the 3rd floor, but I always go to the family health area on the first floor. The doctors there have decent English, and work longer hours than the intl area. |

What are you talking about? I would consider the quality of care here to be far below American standards, but then I had the ultra-super-platinum insurance coverage back home. I wouldn't consider it to be a horror story here on the ROCK though either.
Can you post any personal experiences with hospitals that would lead you to believe this? |

My friend hurt herself. We went to 3 different doctors and they all said something completely opposite of the previous one and they all blamed the other doctors for making a wrong diagnosis. In the end the outcome would probably have been exactly the same (just with less drugs and surgery) if we never went to the doctor in the first place. |

I went to the doctor. Tests were run, and a full blood workup was done. After that, I was prescribed a treatment course that eliminated my symptoms and I healed.
Now it's your turn. Got another? |
