There is an Asian market area in Gimhae. I'm not from there, so I don't know the name of the area. However, it is near an Emart, shopping mall, and a huge sports complex. I want to say that area is Nae-dong or something like that.

There are 4 or 5 stores selling various asian products. Most of the stores have a refrigerator section with fresh spices inside. We've bought Cilantro and Thai Basil many times.

Might take a bit longer but why not get a planter and grow your own?

actually i took a cooking class in thailand and while i was there i bought the seeds to grow at home. only problem is im not patient enough to wait for the plants to grow. if i could score some before it'd be sweet!!

as for the market in gimhae its a bit far from me. anyone know where i could score some in busan???

It's not actually in Gimhae (it's on the Busan side of the river that separates the two cities).

If my mapskillz are up to par it's just behind E마트. Or one of them is, at least. Not sure if they're all still open (there used to be two or three Asian marts within like a block radius).

Might actually be a block to the east of that.

Dunno the name. Messed up on the map. I think it's between the GS25 and Emart either one street back from the main road (parallel to it) or two, if that makes sense. I'm going from memory so hopefully third time's a charm.
