The last time is was 6 months back in 2002 but I'm not sure now. Does anybody know if you really need a return ticket to your home country, if you're doing a visa run to Japan?

It's currently 6 months.
I'm not sure about the return ticket, but I have heard that it's *officially* required but not often checked.
Others may have heard differently. |

So what happens if you're staying there for a year and have to go for a visa run in another country and returning to Korea? Do you have to show a return ticket to Canada?
I've done it few times ten years ago and got some issues once in Fukuoka, Japan. I wonder if it's mandatory now. |
