Does anyone know how to go about getting a moving truck? I need to move for Seosan to Incheon. About how much should this cost me? TIA.

Contact a guy named Gilbert at 01062759494.
He speaks decent English and is very accomodating regarding scheduling. I called him last minute and had no worries.

He charged me 80,000 for as long as it took to move the stuff, and did most of the loading on his own, although that was by default because I was busy doing othert stuff.

There was an ad in Seoul magazine this month for a relocation and storage company called Move One Relocations. Their number is (02) 372-7000 and their website is www.moveonerelo.com

Wow...lol..
Sorry man, I gave you the number of the real estate guy I used, not the truck guy.

The truck guy is named Brandon, and his # is 01077074280.

Again, apologies.

Brandon is charging me 270,000w to move a double bed, sofa, small bookcase, small dresser, floor-style desk, some luggage and maybe a few boxes. There will be three movers and they're moving everything. He's asked that I transfer half the money now and pay the other half after the stuff is moved. Is he legit? I don't want to get ripped off. I speak decent Korean but it's just easier dealing with someone who speaks some English and I've heard about stuff getting broken during moves here.

I contacted the Brandon guy too about moving...just to get a quote for our move. He's really high on prices from what I found though. He quoted about 120,000 more than a mover my korean friend found for me. I'm sure it is convenient to use him because he speaks english, however If you have a Korean friend, have them to contact a moving company and I'm 100% positive you will get a better deal.
