Hi All
Im teaching in an elementary school in Ilsan and have been here 2 weeks and still havent met any other foreigners to socialise with.
Im the only english teacher in my school and the korean teachers are all too old and feel nervous about talkin to me (they just laugh nervously wen i try to begin a conversation!) and i speak no Korean.

Just want to meet people who like to socialise and maybe hang out, dont worry im not a weirdo!
Thank You
Wink

Do you know how to use the subway? If yes, that'll help a great deal.

There are some foreigners who hang out at La Festa and Western Dom. Just get off at Jeongbalsan Station (#312)

There are also foreigners that hang out at some of the bars around
Hwajeong Station. (#316)

BTW, if you don't drink, that's okay. There are also plenty of coffee shops that attract some foreigners, especially the "Tom and Tom's" between La Festa and Western Dom.

Hey I'm in the same boat you are. I've been here a week and haven't met any foreigners. I'm thinking about hitting up LaFesta and Western Dom this weekend to see what I can find. Let me know if you have met a lot of people yet!
