Someone should go to these cities and document them. I'd be interested in a film about Chinese Fat town. Could be damned interesting in a lot of ways.
For some reason this article reminds me of carnival people. I know a few and they're good people, but they see the world a little bit differently... and the world returns the favor. |

The Chinese would probably be surprised to know we have fat cities too!
Detroit, Chicago, Memphis, St. Louis, Phoenix, Dallas, New York, Philly, New Orleans and so on. |

I like where you're headed with that thought, although I'm thinking more along the lines of looking up where the city in China for girls with pathologically low self-esteem is.
Or maybe I could go to the city of the blind and become their king-- I'm already one eye overqualified. |
