if it says they are, they likely are. Quite a few MLB games get shown here, so if you're in a region they're being broadcast on TV then usually they're blacked out. NHL does the same thing, and will even black out areas where the game are on premium channels that might not actually be available where the person is.

Some live games are blacked out live, but not that many.

The great thing about MLB.com is the games are archived very quickly. I'm a Jays fan so last summer and I work at public school, so last summer I was watching every game after school or later in the evening with some friend.

I've had this product the last 2 summers in Korea and I love it.

It said they were blacked out last year, but I bought it and none of the games were blacked out. Maybe it was a glitch or something. Don't know if they'll change it this year.

I also had the games on at school. 9-12 every morning I'd watch my Brewers lose.

Two buddies and are are planning on going in together to get it. $33 each for the entire season...even if they're blacked out live I think it's worth it to watch them on delay.

Most of the games that are blacked out are the nationally televised games. Meaning Sat. afternoon (Sun. morning here) and the Sunday night game.

I'm surprised they don't block all non-korean baseball. As you know Korea has the best baseball in the world because they won the 2008 Olympics.
Its 2010 and they're still replaying the games on TV.

That's what they basically did last year. No sports channnel signed a deal with MLB so there was no MLB on TV last year.
They are still replaying the 2002 World Cup games and that was 8 years ago, so I would say we are in for a few more years of Olympic baseball highlights.

Remember, the games are on in the morning.

They had some MLB games on TV last year- mostly Cleveland Indians games because of the Korean RF, Choo, and a few Phillies games with Chan-ho Park. There will be at least 3 Koreans in MLB in 2010, so maybe we have a chance of seeing more games.

BTW, in Japan, they get to see the Mariners games on national TV. Must be nice.

don't bother paying for anything, since they are all blocked.

Go to www.myp2p.eu, and click on "Live Sports", then choose whichever sport you want. The games will almost always be on there.

Note: you need to have some viewers, like sopcast, tvuplayer, tvants, etc. Various hosters streaming the games from their tv or computer use different programs.

This is the only way I get my Brewers, Packers, and USC Trojans games. Smile

Works well usually.

Otherwise, check out justin.tv. However they recently implemented a maximum viewers thing, and cuts off non-paid "premium" people sometimes after a minute or so.

What channel were they on? In 2008 they were on XSports, but they didn't renew their contract last year. Here in Daegu we had no baseball last year.

MLB tv works here but it is on delay. Games will not be shown until 90 minutes after they are completed in North America. I had the package last summer when I was in Canada and then used it in August when I went to Korea. I also used it the season before when there was no delay.

However, I seem to remember a few times where the game was being broadcast live but maybe I am just daydreaming. Either way, games are archived so as long as you don't see the score, you can watch it live when you get home (or at work if you got a cozy hagwon job)

well worth the money, especially with no Korean commentator ready to suck off Sin Shoo Choo

They should give Padres fans a discount.
