I have tried and noticed that too.

I have heard, but never tried, that there is an office in Seoul for Cebu Pacific. They'd be able to book a ticket. Much bigger hassle than just booking online however. No idea why they don't just add Seoul on to the website!

Avoid Cebu Pacific at all costs! They don't have a link for Seoul because the flights are controlled by a Korean travel agent in one of the large, expensive Korean resorts in the Philippines.

The entire plane is chartered by this Korean resort, and Cebu Pacific has nothing to do with it, other than owning the plane and providing the flight crew. The Cebu Pacific agents and airport staff will simply tell you to phone the Korean travel agent at the resort there if you have any problems or flight change requests.

Then your trouble begins: they don't answer the phone (closed all weekends and holidays and nights); they don't speak English; the person you need to speak to is busy, out, etc.

Cebu Pacific will not do anything to help you in this regard ("sorry sir, but it is a special Korean charter flight; you'll have to contact the Korean travel agent who controls it; we can't do anything cause they control it"). No customer service from Cebu Pacific, whatsoever.

This is especially irritating since Cebu Pacific doesn't tell you anything about the flight being a special Korean charter (with conditions attached) when you buy the ticket. They just want your warm body to fill the 2-3 remaining seats on the plane.

See my post ("avoid Cebu Pacific") here on Daves (over a thousand hits so far - take that Cebu Pacific!), along with all the replies from others here who have had problems with Cebu Pacific.

Remember, usually you get what you pay for! The few dollars you save will not be worth it. Don't be a sucker! The fact that Cebu Pacific doesn't have a website/contact information should tell you something.

I also noticed this when booking some tickets last month. I did come across the Korean version of the site. I would imagine you can book there, but you have to read Korean which I cannot do. http://www.cebupacificair.co.kr/. That being said, it seems strange that they have ICN on their route map on the main site.

It is a regular "charter flight" and not a scheduled flight.
You can get ahold of them at tel: 3708-8585 in Seoul.

Do they still have a Seoul office?

3708-8585 is now some lady's private number; not the airline.

3708-8533 is no longer a working number.

I couldn't find anything about how to get a quote from Seoul to anywhere else, but think it might be a good fare if we find out the contact info. They might be controlled by a travel agent. It's just like that with Korean Air where you can't get internet quotes as it just stops dead after selecting flights like the site is broken. Some of them play hard with this no internet quotes when it comes to Korea. In Korea when a site fails, it means the service is not available or you have to go through a human.

could have sworn I accessed ICN>MNL a few months ago (or maybe it was temporary or I was mistaken). Just checked today and alas, it's not there.

what kind of prices do Cebu normally quote roughly for ICN>MNL etc? Around late April/May time

I checked out of curiosity. There are definitely options for Incheon to Manila or Cebu. Perhaps not when you're flying, but they're there. None of the promo fares, of course.

I hacve tickets from Incheon to Manila in hand right now. I don't know what the OP is talking about.

I also flew them Incheon to Cebu last year, through G-Market. I paid about 280,000 round trip.

Cebu pacific now does regularly scheduled flights, no longer a "scheduled charter" flight so you don't have to deal with the Korean tour operator anymore.

They have a ticket office on the 9th floor of the building cross corner (kitty corner) from Kyobo bookstore in Gwangwhamun.

They can also be reached by phone for reservations but you have to book/buy via the internet, a travel agent or at their ticket office. They don't take credit cards by phone.

There IS an additional 5000 won ticketing fee when you buy your ticket.

There ARE restrictions if you want to change/cancel/refund your ticket (sometimes the extra charges can be more than the cost of a replacement ticket if you want to make changes). (this is also true of their operation in the Philippines). The model is similar to Westjet for those who are from Canada.
