Subway maps, not a single damn one to find in a station. I usually end up getting on the train and hoping I can read where I need to go before the doors close.

How damn hard is it to put subway maps on the WALLS OF A SUBWAY?

They are all over the place. You need to find a pair of glasses, not maps.

I see fine, 20/10 actually. If I can't find them, they are not optimally placed.

I shouldn't have to get a map to find a map.

There is a map in every station on the platform. There are also maps up in the station floor.

You can also ask for a mini map, and from time to time they have them in English also.

Almost all subway platforms have maps for the entire system, the escape route for that station, and a map of the surrounding neighborhood.

They are there and relatively easy to find.

So basically, they're not exactly where you want them to be, whenever you want them to be there...;/

Anyway, I agree that some stations could use a few more of them.

I've been staring at my hand for at least three hours and THERE IS NOT A PASTRAMI SANDWICH TO BE SEEN!?!?!!!

Well, at least someone's bound to remedy the situation asap.

Some stations are better than others about having maps. They do have subway maps, in English, at most Tourist Info centers in Seoul. There's one in Itaewon Station.

I went to the information office in Itaewon station for maps and Seoul information. The system map can be viewed where the station ticket vendors are located, but after you pass through the gates into the system, system maps seem to be absent. It requires good memory on transfers and line directions to find where you going or it takes a map in hand to find your way in transit. You could reduce the size of the map, print it, and laminate for a convenient hand held pocket map.
