general gvt warning about trying to access a banned site.

My advice: pick a different porn site.

South Korea is blocking internet sites just like China.

You can get around this message by using proxies...just google "proxy" to find out more info..

It says that you are being monitored by the Korean Communications Commission.

The penalty for viewing illegal sites is a 50 million won fine and up to 5 years in federal prison.

It also states at the bottom that your name and address have been obtained from your internet service provider.

Also, there is a number on there for you to call in order to let them know when is a good time to drop by your house.

It just says that the site you're trying to view has illegal content and that if you have any questions you can use one of the numbers in the bottom right to contact the cyber police. No big deal.

If you're getting that message while browsing at a public school and you know the site's okay, just speak with the school's net administrator (usually the senior computer science teacher) and have the site listed on the admin's master list of safe sites. The reason you're getting the message pop-up could be as simple as the net administrator listing a block (using the * as a wiildcard) of sites as restricted.
