I remember reading somewhere that men and women have different fingers on their hands.

by this I mean, that for MEN, their fourth finger will be longer than their 2nd, aka index finger.

but for WOMEN, the opposite is true, or they're roughly equal.

In some very limited sampling, I've found this to bear true so I'd like to get a wider sample! please vote whether you do or do not conform to this rule.

Should be a good ultimate test to weed out trannies.

Yeah you'd probably be better off actually doing some research on the topic.

Quote:
2D:4D ratio of homosexual men was not significantly different from that of heterosexual men for either hand (P > 0.09). However, segregating male subjects based on birth order provided support for the role of fetal androgens in male sexual orientation. The more older brothers a boy has, the more likely he is to develop a homosexual orientation2. Confirming these reports, we also found that only homosexual men had a greater than expected proportion of brothers (P< 0.01) among their older siblings (229 brothers:163 sisters) compared with the general population (106 males:100females6).

So the question should be, "How long did your brain soak in fetal androgens?"

interesting link, thanks.

However, I wasn't putting in, nor was I aware of any sexual orientation component in the supposed ratio.

It was simply to confirm whether someone was actually biologically a man or woman.

Might help out some poor soul who's had a little too much to drink on a club one night. I used to work at one and we used to have a couple of very well done trannies come in. They'd always be swapping spit with some guy in the club by the end of the night, or sometimes, things would be taken further off the premises. It was always a great source of amusement. I'm 100% convinced the poor guys really thought they were getting in on with a woman. Laughing

Question: If you make out with a tranny in a club, and you never realize it, does it even matter? I mean, what's the big deal? Making out with something pretending to be a woman, when you think it's a woman, even when it has male genetalia, doesn't make you gay. That's not how that works.

what's wrong with a poll on 2d4d ratio?

I found an interesting link on it.. off Wiki, now that I knew what to google:

it's the right way to look at it. i mean highschool was fun and all but most of us have adopted a more complicated definition of gay than the highschool standard of "you doing anything that makes me uncomfortable."

Despite your problem with nuance in the afterlife thread, you're getting pretty deep with this topic.

I'd say it isn't a big deal if having sex with a guy isn't a big deal to you either. If you're cool with the mouth of either gender so long as you're under the impression it's of your preferred gender, then it'd be kind of inconsistent to suddenly draw the line at full on intercourse. You could say that full on intercourse is exactly where things start to get different, but that'd imply you'd be averse to anal intercourse with an actual chick, which is Puritan crazy talk.

This topic is the clear modern day successor to the "tree falls in the woods and no one's around to hear it" koan.

Well, I just discovered that the 4th digit (ring finger) on my left hand is longer than the 2nd digit (index finger) but on my right hand they're the same length. What does that mean?

Clearly your left half is a male, and your right half is female.

I didn't call the guys who were uknowingly with trannies - "gay". I didn't call them anything. I simply found the situation enormously amusing.
I'd simply prefer never to find myself in said situation Very Happy

I just discovered that the fingers on my right hand are longer than the ones on my left and that my hands are unfeminine in this regard...but another interesting thing to me is that my family members look most alike when you look not at our faces, but at our hands.
