Question:
Is the US version of FFXIII coming to Korea? As the Japanese version's been out here for some time, I'm beginning to wonder whether retailers will carry the American version.
Has anyone spoken to sellers at Yongsan or Technomart about the English-language release? Is it coming out at all? If so, when?

That doesn't at all answer my question.
(Sorry, was referring to the PS3 version of the game.) |

It's possible. For most of the big name games you can usually find a person selling the US version in the gamers alley at Yongsan. Remember, the game releases today in the States, so it may take some time.
If worse comes to worst, you can always buy the US version online. |

I ordered my US copy on play-asia. It says it will ship out on the 11th (weird because US shipping date is the 9th). Hopefully I get it sometime this week...
I have the Japanese copy from my LE ffxiii ps3, but it's annoying to play while translating online. If you're planning on getting the Japanese copy at all, I'd say buy it only if you understand and can read Japanese. |

Anyone know if this is out at Yongsan yet? I'm thinking today or Friday at the latest, yeah? |

I went to Technomart today and most of the vendors I spoke with emphatically said NO they do not have the English version and have absolutely no desire to stock it, since they even had several second hand Japanese versions. |

I was in yongsan today and two different vendors told me that this was not in korea.
I think Play-Asia or sites like it may be the best option. |

Located at least two XB360 copies in Yongsan. They would only play on US systems though. They were asking very high prices for them, 89k and 120k at the two vendors who had it. |

If your using a US account for the PSN, I would buy the English US version. With DLC, you have to have the version that goes along with your PSN account. For example, I have a US PSN account and an Asian FIFA10. I downloaded new kits, stadiums, and the ultimate team pack only to learn that none of them installed correctly. If Square-Enix releases DLC for Final Fantasy 13, get the US version. If they don't, I don't see why you shouldn't get the Asian version. |
