So I know I need to report a change of address and that I have 14 days to do it.
Problem is, my boss isn't completely on the ball. What does it take to report this change of address? Do I need to go to the office? Does it cost anything? What are the penalties for being late? I work during the day so it's hard to make it to the immigration office during business hours without my school's consent. |

Your school should accept the need for you to do that. For Koreans its 2nd nature to report changes of address.
Depending on where you are, a gu-office or city hall has a desk just for that. You can also do it at Immigration. Quick, free, & easy. ARC & new address is all you need.
Theoretically you're subject to a fine if you dont register in time but if you're a bit late the officials tend to shrug it off. (But no guarantees on that.) |

do you need some kind of proof as to when you moved?
I`m way over the 2 week deadline.
Is it just a case of filling in a form with your new address and that`s it? No questions asked? |

Yeah, I was way over too. Nobody asked. The only time it would be a problem is when you go to renew your visa. So do it before then. |
