| Has anyone found this? Everywhere I've gone, I've just seen extra virgin olive oil. |

| Not sure, but I plan on trying the Shangri-la Diet, and the book says I must use extra light olive oil. |

| Best of luck to you, but I highly discourage diets in general. |

Someone on a message board?
I was just trying to offer up my opinion as someone who's lost a considerable amount of weight.
God, take that stick out of your ass and stay fat. Fatty. |

| I know a guy who trimmed down a lot on the shangri-la diet. He couldn't find the extra light olive oil so he used extra light canola oil (e-mart, homeplus etc). I think it works the same. |

The author of "The Shangri-la Diet" says he also uses sugared water and flaxseed oil, but recommends extra light olive oil the most.
I figure I'll try a few black markets to see if they have it, or perhaps Costco might, too. |

Maybe the light only refers to the taste of the oil.
Olive oil is a good choice as it's generally pressed and not processed too much.
Canola on the other hand, is far from healthy as it's a an extremely processed product (junk food). |
