This 20-questions bot is UNBELIEVABLE. Just TRY to stump it. It got some characters that have only appeared in a show ONCE.

It's ridiculous. I use this as a time waster, from time to time. It battles with obscure African soccer players but smokes obscure asian players. Go figure.

Apparently my mind works in completely different ways. I picked the main character from the novel I'm reading, which is famous enough to have been made into a movie 40 questions, several of which repeated themselves, and it got nowhere close.

It got Thomas S. Monson when it made its 2nd guess when I tried it.

I can basically stump it at will. Your students and most people you know will get beat 9 out of 10, though.

Well, I start with Larry David from Curb Your Enthuiasm to test it and it caught on very easily. It also guessed Croaker from Chronicles of the Black Company, but it took three tries to do it (and one of those tries was an Asian, after I had all ready told it the character wasn't Asian).

I didn't like the look on his face after he barely scraped by on Croaker, though, so I picked Sarsem from Jack Vance's literature, and crushed him.

I stumped him with Temuera Morrison and Sunday Oliseh.

Trevor linden stumped him

Jimmy Paek stumped him

But he figured out Ling Xiaoyu and Precis F. Neumann

2 videogame characters. So I guess relatively unknown videogame characters are guessable and obscure hockey players like Jimmy Paek are unknown.

That's kind of the key though...You chose something from a book. Most people are going to be thinking up comic book or TV or video game characters, so Akinator will be "tuned in" to that sort more often than not.

Public schoolers should play this until Zeeto is recognized.

Yea. He can also tell which country you are in, so probably has some data about countries and their preferences.

That thing's pretty scary but I stumped it with Richard 'The Iceman' Kuklinski, Mark Chopper Read and Too Short.

Some of the ones it guessed though were amazing.
