I sent my resume in to a recruiter and I've been getting a lot of offers for public schools around Seoul with a starting date of March, April, or May. The lady sent me a contract to look at and it said EPIK contract yada yada yada .how legit is this? I thought EPIK only hired for March and September.

the main hiring times are those months, but they hire all year round. if a teacher quits or does a runner in may then the school has to hire a new teacher, and they sign a year contract. assuming they make it the whole year and don't stay there for a second year, then the school will need a new teacher again the following may. its very common.

Or it could be some school that just copied the EPIK contract and didn't take out the epik mentions. Or possibly it is an after school program and they are trying to hide under the hood of EPIK even though they have no real affiliation.

They also habitually do NOT make their intended hiring quota and have to add new hiring periods.
