I ran across this and thought some would enjoy it. It's a collection of clips from film noir movies set to Massive Attack's "Angel". Pretty cool to see most of Hollywood's stars of the past in 6:40. I know it settled which movie I'm watching tonight: 'Sunset Boulevard' ( I *am* big. It's the *pictures* that got small.)

yeah that was kickass. great editing.
It really makes me wish that film noir movies always had a great score like that.
It's also really interesting to see how filmmakers back then worked with what thye had to create incredible stories - for example the use of shadow. Modern filmmakers can rely on flashy editing and fx to give their films the extra oomph! |
