So, I am the only user on my PC (administrator) and I am trying to add the 'Run' command to my Start bar. I have also tried the 'win+R' buttons, and it gives me the schpiel about not being the administrator! WTH????

I can't add it with the 'Properties', 'Customize' option either because it doesn't show up in that menu.

Oh, using Win 7 Ultimate.

I am lost.

Turn off UAC.

I don't know whether it will help; I haven't had the problem and I stopped using Windows 7.

I'm also having trouble figuring out exactly what one of these posts is saying, as the English is pretty rough in spots. But perhaps this will put you on the right track to solving your problem.
