I am fascinated with some of the things I've read on Wikipedia. My brother told me about this article, so I checked it out, and it looks pretty legit. Very creepy...

Once again Dave's pays its rent for the month with a thread like this. Pure gold, especially the Dyatlov Pass Incident. That was a good read.

For bizarre I usually stumble upon weird animals and such.

There used to be a joke wikipedia article about Bob Ross, the man with the afro from the joy of painting show. It said that he had a 12 inch member and some other stuff. I came across it by accident, I just had one of those days when I thought " hmmm wonder whatever happened to that guy from the joy of painting." Turns out he died though.

After awhile the wikipedia guys must have found out cause he has a normal entry now.

One of my friends is a die hard Phillies fan and he wrote some pretty vile stuff on Joe Carter's wiki page a few years ago. All been changed long ago, but it was there for a little while.

Epic thread. Pity I don't have any 'desk warming'. Actually that isn't a pity at all.

some of the best wikipedia entries are in the HISTORY section of any article:

http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Epic_Movie&oldid=145239651

http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Shanna_Moakler&oldid=22416383

and the best part is ANYONE can make the wiki funnier..... the trick is to see how long you can get away with it.....if that's something you were so inclined to try... Wink

I couldn't find a "Dave's ESL Cafe" page on Wikipedia.

Here's a relevant find in that list of unusual articles.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fan_death

(I first thought this was an isolated superstition, like black cats or spilling salt. Korean friends, co-workers, and students have convinced me otherwise. Theories abound, but doubt does not...)

And mellification...
