Anyone know a good web site to look at places to rent by the month (월세) in Seoul? We (my wife and I) are looking for an apartment, not a goshitel. We don't know where we want to live yet, but it has to be in Seoul.

Thanks in advance! Very Happy

There is a site called peter pan and it's what most Koreans use I think. You might need a Korean to help you understand it all.

http://www.wolse.com/ is the most budget oriented site I've come across. The first figure is the deposit, the second if the monthly. If you don't have deposit money then look for ones with a zero on the first side of the slash.

This topic has been beaten to death five times over, but as the search function doesn't cut it for a lot of people, here we go...

Don't bother with on-line sites. Waste of time, unless you want to see what people pay who overpay. You have to beat the pavement in the neighborhoods in which you're interested in living. Go to every real estate place around, even if they're next to each other. Tell them what you want, what you can pay, and when you can move.

The mods didn't sticky my extremely helpful "find an apartment in Seoul" thread.
