I can't think of a country where a pregnant teen would feel more awkward at school.

I agree that this is good news, but I also think the government should provide private tutors to any students who prefer to complete their studies independently (for any reason, not just pregnancy) and that it should be easier to earn a diploma that way.

Good to hear. But providing a private tutor is going overboard and could potentially get expensive.

But, the girl's boyfriend needs to be kicked in the nards for not waiting a year and dating an underage girl. The girl needs a smack to the head for being dumb, believing whatever fairytale story about love from her boyfriend and getting knocked up.

It's amazing how fast social attitudes change in Korea. In the 90's divorce was so taboo Koreans didn't tell their grown kids, now it's accepted. A few years ago this would have been unimaginable, in the near future it will be accepted. Korea now needs to work on being more accepting of the single mother.

And the government should fund this program with the beauty of rainbows and the wishes of children.

You should pay for the private tutors for these people or volunteer yourself. What? Only generous when its other people's money you're spending?

Try any Islamic country. Their classmates would probably be busy gathering stones during recess for the execution. Twisted Evil I had a Pakistani student once describe to me how people executed a 15 year old girl who was raped by her teacher. The teacher received several dozen lashings on his back.

On a side note, I had a student who was raped at 14 years old and she decided to keep the baby. Her high school removed her from all her honors classes and leadership positions claiming that she was a negative influence on other students. She had to take her remaining classes in trailers out of sight with the other pregnant girls and was not allowed to graduation ceremonies with her classmates. This was in Los Angeles. On a happy note, she wrote about these experiences (along with what it was like growing up in South Central L.A.) in her application to law school and Harvard Law School actively recruited her.

I also agree that lollipops should be supplied to anyone who wants one, whenever they want one.

Ryan

P.S. I fail.
