Any recommendations? I heard there is a nice jazz bar near Hyehwa but I don't know the directions. |

I just went to "Once in a Blue Moon" in Apgujeoung (its near Gangnam office station). It was really nice but I think the name more refers to the frequency in which you can afford to go there.
The new issue of groove magazine (or maybe the last issue) had a whole profile of jazz bars. you can get it at several places in itawewon. hope that helps |

Off the top of my head:
All That Jazz - Itaewon - On the main strip. Same side as KFC walking towards Noksapyeong on the 2nd floor.
Club Evans - Hongdae - Next building to the 7-11 upstairs.
Moonglow - Hongdae - Hongdae exit 5. Walk straight to Bobo hotel and turn left. It's in the first alley on the right. |

Once Upon a Blue moon in Apgujeong is great. Pricey though. I like sitting up on the 2nd floor balcony table with a bottle of wine and a pretty girl. |

Ha ha I agree. I think I paid 32,000 won for two glasses of beer.
I kind of felt out of place there, thinking I was a phony but I kept looking around and saw most of the other people were sitting on their one drink for an hour and the only song the crowd started clapping to in the first few bars was Autumn Leaves, I knew I wasn't the only one faking it for an evening. |
