I'm looking at the Dahon Speed D7 folding bike. The only thing thats putting me off is the price, 500,000w.

Is it worth it? I don't know too much about bicycles other than Cannondale is really expensive.

I have no idea what bike parts are good, what features are a must have, etc...

I mainly want to use the bike to ride around the city and by the Han River.

Just bought an MU P8 and the guy shipped it to me as a "GIFT" so I didn't pay taxes.

I love Dahon...!

I'm not sure which to get, the Vitesse D7 or the Speed D7.

One of my best friends commutes daily on a Dahon Speed. He rides it throughout the winter (in Toronto!) and has never had a problem. Sounds like it'd be perfect for your purposes. 500,000 is about what they cost in North America, so at least you wouldn't have to deal with the average Korean bike mark-up.

I am going to bring one bike with me to Seoul, and I'll likely later have another one shipped. How's the riding in Korea? I'll be arriving in May.

Its great riding up and down the Han River. I ended up choosing the Vitesse D7.

Now, I gotta be super diligent in making sure it doesn't get stolen. I like the quick fold so that I can just store it inside my apartment.
