I'll start things off:
1. Wear glasses.
2. Scream out all the answers during Jeopardy... the one you saw earlier on a rerun.
3. Look smug, wear a tweed suit with leather elbow patches, cross your legs and smoke an obnoxious pipe.
4. ??

what you people are just naturally smart or something, c'mon!

4. Go to an anonymous message board like Daves and throw words like "sophomoric" and "germane" around... also "normative".
5. Change your name to Mordecai or Saruman. Wear a wizard hat everywhere.

These are totally normal, every day words. I don't think they're likely to impress anyone.

Quote Something- The Simpsons, The Big Lebowski, Shakespeare, The Bible, Poetry, etc.
Throw in references to history using phrases like - "When Person X was facing Situation Y in year Z he did/spoke N" or "Are you familiar with the work of Q" or "In his work A, Author B went on to detail act C"
Speak with a vaguely British accent.
Top Hat, Cane, Monocle, Bow Tie, Fancy Pens, Pocket Watches, Silk Handkerchiefs, Lapel Pins, Cufflinks, Leather/White Cotton Gloves
Hand-write long-winded 19th century style letters to people. In cursive. With your long S written in that old style that looks like an 'f'.
Let the more opinionated people babble during a conversation and then interject with some wise-sounding point 15 minutes into it after a long silence.
Use a typewriter/sliderule or any other piece of analog technology. Take notes in shorthand. Be intimately acquainted with practices and technology of the 1860s-1950s
Eat and Drink Slowly
Use U (Upper Class) English
Use as much Latin, Ancient Greek, and French as possible
Stare silently and thoughtfully in deep contemplation at nothing for a long time.
Profess ignorance at anything relating to pop/mass culture in the last 10 years
Sweater Vests, Cardigans, 3 piece suits
Be well-manicured

Make an obscure reference to some high-falutin book that nobody has read and present premises that appear in such book as your own.

Warning: Do not do the above when trying to steal girlfriend from Matt Damon
