Have any of you guys bought more expensive items from sellers on gmarket? im in the market for a computer and not sure whether to grab something from gmarket or pop down to yongsan and get them to make something up.
im a big wary of gmarket as some of the sellers seem a bit shady. and for a more expensive item, it worries me a little.
am i worrying for no reason? |

I think most Gmarket outlets have a return policy of at least a week. If you need repairs, though, it is good to know someone at Yongsan. For more specific info, you may want to post on the tech forum. |

You should be alright. Just check the sellers ratings/review. Though, I think if you can get to Yongsan, you probably should. |

If you buy on the net you have to check and make sure everything is to spec. Also I have heard they sometimes use second hand parts with them. But if you buy from a store with a good rep. Then you are probably fine. |

I buy most of my household goods and other things on gmarket and the only sellers I've had any trouble with have been sellers of cheap running shoes.
As for me, I prefer to buy electronic items in person because I like to test them out myself to see all their features and make sure they work.
If you know exactly what you want, of course, go ahead and buy - but do check out sellers' ratings and return policies as others have suggested and as you would for any other online shopping site.
I myself have not ordered expensive items on gmarket but I have ordered a bit of furniture and even those items have always arrived in impeccable condition.
Good luck! |

I've purchased several "high-ticket" items off of Gmarket and haven't run into any problems yet. Said items include a 40" LCD TV, a desktop computer, and several LCD monitors. I'd say these are some of the more fragile 'bigger items from Gmarket' so shop your worries away! |
