|

Hey guys do any of ye know what reasons would prevent you fomr getting a Korean teaching visa??? My friend and I applied for jobs, got a contract, sent if off and all our documentation then we heard nothing for about 2weeks and just today our recruiter emailed saying we never got the visa and that he was sorry. He gave no reasons or nothing. I really think that we have been scammed and our documentaion robbed. Does anybody know anything about this???? |

sent all the info to the recruiter or the school? can't you track the package to see if it arrived? then at least you'll know that it got there and can rule that out... |

it got to the school alright but we are beginning to think that there was maybe no job because we had all the right documentation. I just think aswell that the school could have changed there mind and that it never went to the embassy. Because its just so weird that we could not get visas.Oh well hopefully by monday we will get some answers. |

hopefully you didn't send originals. I know it's a bit late pointing this out but if you have copies of your documents then it's not all bad cos you can just reapply. Did your recruiter mention anything about sending you your stuff back? |

first - was your visa application DENIED or just not applied for?
Makes a BIG difference.
IF it was denied for some reason, then your problem (with immigration) won't go away and you MAY get your documents (if there were originals) back in the regular mail some day. IF you just sent copies then they will be gone (immigration will have kept them).
However, what I suspect happened was your recruiter had your application, tried to farm it out to another recruiter (sub contract so to speak) or to a school / government program.
At this point either the 2nd recruiter dropped the ball OR the school either had a problem with sponsorship or simply found another applicant (possibly in country).
Try to get your documents back or forwarded to another recruiter when you find another job.
I hope you went with more than 1 recruiter and have other possibilities in the frying pan.
