Molly Bloom,

Your baby's daddy better be huge.

From personal experience with Molly's future baby daddy, I can report he'd kick the ass of about 95% of people he came into contact with.

But is he Viking scale? Exceptionally large Danes are also acceptable.

The kid's gotta be towing longboats a shore by puberty. These questions of pedigree are important. Shocked

I enjoyed the list of acceptable names. Did you get some of them from the Space Mutiny episode of MST 3k?

If I had a daughter I would name her River. I would raise her to be a hyper-intelligent but emotionally reserved fighting machine. Also my last name may or may not be the name of a freshwater fish.

For boys, I dunno... Oscar? I like classic names generally. Not necessarily "modern" classics but ones which are a bit more obscure over time. Franklin, Clarence, Reginald, Orville...etc.

This is why I named my cats Freya and Tuvok. No one will beat them up for being nerdy.

I've always liked the name Dashiell- easy to say but distinctive and Dash would make a great nickname

Thanks. I think it only reached the joined-before-2007 demographic, though.

Haha! That is true...Remember that one night at the Hof near Sinsa before I left? Yee hawwww!

I would also like to name a boy Oscar, with the middle name James. Oscar is a family name. Adele is the oldest female name in my lover's family, so we were thinking about that for a girl, if and when we have one. Some other family names in both families are: Phoebe, Merilee, Cecil, DeWitt, and Penelope.

You should name your first-born Thirty-Eight. It's a bi-gender name. Very Happy Shocked

WTF ... that's not even remotely Beowulf.

Now THIS is a Beowulf baby!:

And this is his mighty assault crib!:

And.... on the off-chance that it's a girl... Behold, Grimhilda, bane of Patriarchal Civilization!:

I'd find Grendel baby, too, but... I don't have the nuggets to type "one armed baby" into Google... Shocked Embarassed
