if i forget to defrost the chk the night before, i find it's also ok to leave them out at room temp. before i leave to go to work in the morning. i'd just take a kilo bag out the freezer and put it in the sink and load it with cold water. by the time i get back, it's ready to be 4man grilled.
cheapest chicken in korea is on gmarket. |

Dude it is half the price of what I pay in the UK ie for two 10lbs of Optimum protein in Korea I would get 1 in the UK.
The OP is spot on with his observation about supplements: get on line and have a Korean friend purchase them for you. Be warned that healthkorea has now relocated to the US and there may be a small duties charge however.

do you know if that's the case with madmass.net as well? |

I think alot of the sites are located in the US. I think it easier for them to operate there. I know speedns is in America too.
SpeedNS does price matching now. If you can find a cheaper site (including delivery) they will beat the price.
In regards to the precooked chicken. I had a look and it doesn't say the nutritional information on that page. But it looks the same as grilled or baked chicken. Which if so your probably looking at about 28 grams protein and 2-3 grams fat per 100g. Seems kind of expensive at 50 for 5kg.
Just cook your chicken in bigger batches and then leave it in the fridge and reheat later. It should be fine for about 3 days. I cook my chicken every second day. About 5 minutes of cutting 20 minute slow cook. I just mix every few minutes(it is diced). |

Costco in Daegu has a bag of chicken breasts, 18 I think, they are good sized have 24g of protein it's 24,000-28,000. Price fluctuates from month to month.
bodybuilding.com I don't think would be good because of the cost of shipping. I've heard most people say healthkoreaus is good as well as speedns
As far chalk goes I bought a chalk ball on amazon.com. My family sent a box of stuff and I had them put it in there. It's pretty cheap and works great. |

Not bb.com because shipping prices are crazy. I check a usual order of mine on bb.com and the shipping was 250 bux. I went back to speed NS because they increased their inventory. I think they are still the cheapest when you factor in their 10 dollar delivery. Also as I mentioned before they now beat the price of competition. So I guess they must be.
Healthkoreaus has the biggest range but their prices are higher between 10-20% on somethings. |

I think you need a korean ID.
Get a Korean to help you. Not sure, I make the shopping list and my wife orders. Before that the guy at my gym did the orders. |

if that's the case, is it best not to buy over 150,000krw to avoid duties (assuming customs rules apply)? |

Wow spiderman deadlifts? Never seen a deadlift with legs that far apart.
Ahh just about every order I do is over 300,000 won. I've never had to pay anything extra. However I think if your order is over 400,000 won with speedns you need to pay an extra 10,000 won delivery. |

Does anyone know how to reach customer service with speedns.com? I just placed an order with speedns on Thursday, transferred money, etc. etc., but received an e-mail that night saying they couldn't confirm my identity (my assumption is that it's because I used my name, but a Korean co-worker's ID number... the website would not accept my ARC ID number). I e-mailed the company but the e-mail wouldn't go through.
I tried calling the CA number on the website, but haven't had any luck reaching anyone, or even an answering maching. AND there's a sketchy email address on their homepage to someone@yahoo. I tried writing him, too, but haven't heard anything.
From some of the posts, it looked as though speedns was a good place to buy protein powder.
Any suggestions? |

Good luck. I tried contacting them about an order I placed and never could get through to them. No problems with the order though, just wanted some more info. |
