I have heard that Yeoido park and Namsan park (near the tower) have nice ones.

chang-gyung-gung... it's so beautiful in early april and least crowded.
make sure you go there with a korean girl.

You could make a weekend of it and go check out one of the festivals... Gyeongju or jinhae. Ive only been to gyeongju - traffic is horrific, hiring a scooter is a good way to get around though Smile I heard Jinhae has the really big old trees and is awesome especially at night...

The Jinhae festival is always last few days of March/first days of April...so next week?

whatever you do, take a miss on the yeoido festival. there was very little in the way of "festivities" - just tons of people showing up at the park and not even all that many cherry trees.

If you want to get a little more off the beaten path, Suanbo has a decent little festival that happens every year.

full blossoms now on Jeju (and 17 C yesterday)

but not as many of that kind of tree as one can find in Hadong or Jinhae along the south coast of the peninsula
