I'm not sure, but if you're really low on funds and looking to hang out in Itaewon I'd recommend Club 7/11 (the one next to Club Rio or whatever it's called). It's not actually "indoors", but the location is still pretty good for people-watching and whatnot.

Both. You'll love it. The FM lounge also has a nice selection of cheap swill.

i hear the beer on the floor of most bars is free. maybe you can lick that up. Cheapest draft? Seriously? is the W2000-2500 price in most places blowing your budget? Perhaps get financial priorities in place should be higher on your list, you think?

rainman is right. seriously. it's pretty hard to find a bar in itaewon that doesn't have at least one beer on draft in the 2500-3500 won price range. how much lower can it go?

BricX behind the Hamilton Hotel has 500c mugs of Red Rock for 2500 won last time I checked. They also have 3000 won Jagermeister. Pretty good dance music Thu/Fri/Sat too. It's a great place to get rocked on a budget.

Oh, and 2500 Tequila, too.

If you're REALLY looking to go cheap, try the Ho Bars or Gold Bars in Hongdae. I think you can get a 500cc/tequila combo for like 3000 won.

I think that rainman is simply commenting on the ridiculousness of a poster in Korea asking where they can find the cheapest beer and how ridiculous that is when you can buy soju from E-mart for $1. Also, the fact that he's looking for draft beer, but not just any draft beer, but the cheapest possible. Sounds like die-hard waegook alcoholism to me.

Hmm bars- I think the Seoul Pub OB at 2,500 is as low as you ll get.

I think its the same price in Sam Ryans but not exactly sure..

Didn't know Bricks was so cheap! So how much is the beer in Old Stompers?

The cheapest ( and best) Guiness anyway is in Tony's Bar down towards Noksapyeong..thats for sure 6,000 can't go wrong!

hit the bars at happy hour! 2000 won for a draft.. from 4pm -7pm I think.
then its pretty much 2500 - 3000 a glass...
or if you want to save money.. try a pitcher...

Yeah, the place has always had a lot of potential, but unfortunately it's been poorly managed for the past few years. There's one older gal behind the bar (not the owner) who berates the staff constantly, and in front of customers. That has caused massive turnover, which means there's new staff in there every 2 months....the result of which is really, really bad service.
