I was hoping you'd read the feedback you've received here and realized that your original e-mail to the recruiter OBVIOUSLY comes off as offensive. I honestly feel that you are genuine and spiteless in your quest for knowledge regarding Korean recruiters. However, as I said earlier, if you can't see why you came off as offensive, then any advice anyone will give you is useless. Until you can get over your own personal intentions, blameless as they might be, and read the letter with "new eyes", I have a feeling you're going to have a looooooot of problems in life (or at least, your work life).

To the information gatherer, AKA OP. I think you majored in the wrong subject at school. Perhaps you should look into criminal justice. Your "information" gathering techniques seem more like an interrogation.

Well, if your going to interrogate a potential recruiter, then at least employ the good cop bad cop routine to throw them off a little.

Once again, common sense can not be learned in school.

In my opinion the response which you received was polite and clearly worded.
He was saying, "look at it from my perspective".

I don't see why you have chosen to critique his writing skills.
A little more thorough self-editing would serve you better.

What did you actually expect when you sent that....

As others have said, it's amazing you got responded to in such a civil manner.

Recruiters are just the middle men and its well known throughout the entire world that middlemen are not the most trustworthy of people i.e. secondhand carsalesmen, real estate agents, lawyers etc (parasites one and all, I say ) but like all parasites they do perform a useful, albeit, onerous task

You go into any arrangement with middlemen with your eyes open, hand on your wallet/purse and believe about 50% of what they say. I thought this was common knowledge and when you're dealing with a job on the other side of the world, the chances for reliable feedback, would be I imagine even lower.

That being said my recruiter was basically good, just go for a professional one who responds in a timely manner, has good knowledge of what they're advertising and doesn't promise the world.

The result for me was that I was pleasantly surprised with my job and the extras
