Can I get my vaccines for Japanese encephalitus and typhoid once I get to Korea with my insurance by the school? Do you know how much they typically run?
Perhaps I can get them at the health check? |

Japanese Encephalitis, yes, typhoid/t-dap I don't know for sure but would assume yes. Once you are on national insurance they're dirt cheap over here, just pop into the hospital, tell them what you want, and you're done. My J-e vaccine cost like $30 and was a one-shot deal as opposed to the multi-hundred multi-round go I'd have needed in the states. |

The prices are the same with or without insurance. They are not all a standard price however. Shop around. 20-40k for JE. I paid 25k for typhoid, 40 for Hep A/B.
Some are free (if you go to the GU-office) and have your ARC.

No appointment necessary? My typhoid one expired two years ago and I need a new one. |
