Obviously the person has very little knowledge about the social stigmatism that was prevalent in Korean society in those days.

I can say, without a doubt, that Korea has come a long way to recognizing interracial children, even compared to just 13 years ago.

I blogged about this before and that was what hit me also....we have to think what her life would have been like if she hadn't got the hell out of there. Thank god for grandmother's wisdom. I'm sure it was wisdom and not just trying to get rid of the child......

Lots of people around the world are doing amazing work for unselfish reasons. I admire them.
