Hey, I'm living and working in Taebaek, Gangwon-do and I draw a webcomic and also have been doing some autobio comics about my life here. There aren't any artists in my area so if anyone here knows of any existing art communities/meet-ups/&c or does their own art/comics/sketching and wants to just talk shop please contact me!

Why don't you go on "Yahoo groups" or some other site and make a group? Perhaps you will find peope who would like to connect.

I'm curiousto see ifyou find any groups in Korea. For me, I do all of my networking online with people in the West using DeviantArt.

I do large Abstarct Expressionist art that no one wants to buy so I teach in Korea. I sometimes go to the galleries in Insadong. Isandone has some great Makoli places.

Thanks for the responses. I'll definitely look into those links. I guess more specifically what I was looking for was some sort of art-oriented get together. In NYC I use to go to Dr. Sketchy's and that was really fun. I guess there's probably not much burlesque-themed figure drawing available in Seoul though...

Some good stuff. Can't tell you were to go for group sketching, but I like it.
