I work at Rainbow International School in Yangjae.
It costs about 14 million a year- from August til June. 180 days of instruction.

It's a good school from Grades 1 to 8 but your child must meet the eligibility requirements. Here's our website www.rischool.org

thx ifa79

14million? cheaper than I expected! are there many extra charges, such as meal fee, extra extracurricular activities....
do you know school fees of international schools are more or less the same or can they be differ much? We live near mok-dong and wish to find a school in that area...

as i heard, as long as i am not a korean, my girl meets the eligibility requirements in being admitted in an international school in korea. isn't it true?

i'm really tired in reminding my girl not to pronounce "lion" as "ryan", "lost" as "rost" as her kindgarten english teacher Shocked

As long as she can qualify as a citizen of another country by birth (born abroad) or heritage (one parent is not Korean) she meets the requirement.

Her language ability is another matter for eligibility and needs to be addressed.

All of the teachers at the school will be British.

Here is the website...

If you are interested then there will be a question and answer session for new parents at the Seoul Club at 7.30 this evening. I know it's short notice, but it really is a good way of getting to know what the school is about.
