Prospective hagwon I'm looking at in Gwangjin-gu. Does anyone know this area? What is it like? I'm a young guy, I like to go out, get dinner and drinks in the evening, nightlife on the weekend, people, girls, etc. Although during the weekdays I like to take it easy. Will I be bored? This is the big question I need answered. Here are the details I have.

Location: nearby WalkerHill Hotel (Gwangjin, Seoul)

Subway station: Gu-Ui (line 2) or GwangNaRu (line 5)

Many thanks.

I've lived in Gwangjin for over a year. Around Guui station it's pretty blue collar. Technomart is in the area (shopping/movie theater/food court) as well as Konkuk Uni, which is surrounded by a variety of cheap bars and restaurants and is usually packed on weekends. There is also Childrens Park if you need a nice green area in summer. I see very few foreigners in my neighborhood (which I like). Btw, what school are you looking at?

Not sure of the name of the school. Just saw the ad and it says they're looking for ASAP so I'm going to call the recruiter tomorrow. I have three weeks left at my current hagwon so I'm hoping to nail down some work before then.
