Prospective hagwon I'm looking at in Gwangjin-gu. Does anyone know this area? What is it like? I'm a young guy, I like to go out, get dinner and drinks in the evening, nightlife on the weekend, people, girls, etc. Although during the weekdays I like to take it easy. Will I be bored? This is the big question I need answered. Here are the details I have.
Location: nearby WalkerHill Hotel (Gwangjin, Seoul)
Subway station: Gu-Ui (line 2) or GwangNaRu (line 5)
Many thanks. |

I've lived in Gwangjin for over a year. Around Guui station it's pretty blue collar. Technomart is in the area (shopping/movie theater/food court) as well as Konkuk Uni, which is surrounded by a variety of cheap bars and restaurants and is usually packed on weekends. There is also Childrens Park if you need a nice green area in summer. I see very few foreigners in my neighborhood (which I like). Btw, what school are you looking at? |

Not sure of the name of the school. Just saw the ad and it says they're looking for ASAP so I'm going to call the recruiter tomorrow. I have three weeks left at my current hagwon so I'm hoping to nail down some work before then. |
