|
|
Has anyone else come across this problem. I do not have my original diploma. I do have a copy of it however.
When I apply for my E-2 Visa is a notarized copy valid since I will also be getting it Apostillized?
I had one recruiter tell me a copy was fine and another tell me that for Private Schools I need my orginial Diploma.
I am trying to find out who is right.
I did request a duplicate of my Diploma but my University said it could take up to month to receive.
I'd like to get all my Visa documents ready as soon as possible. |

A copy with an apostille affixed is adequate.
It is an immigration requirement.
Get several copies made. You will eventually need them and immigration won't return them.
(they do return originals)

I have not gone to Korea yet but to my knowledge, a notarized and apostilled copy (must be notarized before being apostilled) suffices. I would not want to give my original degree to my employer. |
