I've seen some real doozies in my time but last night my coworker took the cake. He put his head through his own window! He was in the bathroom trying to take a leak when I heard a mighty crash. He had stumbled forward while trying to take a leak and crashed right into the window above the toilet head first breaking it. Miraculously he didn't hurt his head, but he did cut his hand real bad grabbing the window frame trying to steady himself. Plus he pissed on himself.
What's your favorite drunk waeguk story? |

Man, that's a heavy watering for a Wednesday night drink. I just can't drink more than 3 on a week night as 7am is too early to be getting up.
I was in Itaewon at 2AM on a Saturday night and seen 2 waygook meegook soldiers fighting directly across from Hard Rock Cafe who ended up in the police station just a stones throw away. After they were directed into the police station, you could see them through the police station windows still fighting in the presence of the police. Korean police were actually scared of these big US soldier dudes, but the US Army MP's weren't scared of them as they had to answer to the big boys with the big guns in a Humvee. I'm sure they got stripped of rank, article 16 penalty, and had to make apologies for unbecoming ambassadors. It was funny to me, because they were obviously being stupid idiots doing what every 1st sergeant and commanding officer warns soldiers about. Getting drunk and stupid.
With their physical fitness, it would had been so easy for the 2 guys to immediately run and leave it at that rather than voluntarily walking into the police station to continue fighting. It all happened so fast in the less than 5 minutes. Careers and entire lifetimes can be ruined in less than 5 minutes when it comes to getting into police trouble.
There are 3 things the army drills you on countless times.
Responsible drinking.
Responsible fighting.
Zero tolerance for adultry. |

I was in a bar in Hongdae and one guy was shitfaced. He was lurching all over the place, trying in vain to get his mack on. It was painful to watch him make such a tit of himself, but I reminded myself that I've been in his shoes before.
Anyway, he tried the bump 'n' grind on with a couple of Korean chicks who were standing with their boyfriends. Not surprisingly, he ended up on the floor. I bet he wrote a story here next day about Korean cockblockers.. |

I'd rather not embarrass myself. I'm worse than some of the drunks on that blackout korea website. |

actually in osaka on my last little vacation, 2 pm on a Saturday I was wandering down a random little side street and spotted a foreigner careening towards me. He stumbled around until he slammed into the wall. Picked himself up, stumbled again and slammed into the wall a second time. I didn't stick around to see how many more times he planned on doing it.
I stay out of itaewon and hongdae, so I don't get any of the really good stories here.
I do remember like a year and a half ago a couple of korean guys who had their buddy on a pushcart half naked trying to put his shoes on. He was completely gone and stripped to nothing but his jeans. They had him half covered in a jacket and were trying to get him dressed again while chatting with the owner of some restaurant. |

Went on vacation with my relatively new Korean girlfriend (6 weeks) in Thailand and was so excited the first night I got black out drunk by myself in front of the hotel.
Woke up the next morning to a ton of water all over the floor, I turned to my girl and was like "what did you do?" she then informed me I peed all over the place when I got back to the hotel room. Apparantly I was making no sense (which is probably true) and then I threw one of my shoes out the window.
That is the first time I ever blacked out in my life, no idea what I did that night or where I went but I somehow got back to my hotel.
P.S. if anyone finds a brown Doc Marin shoe size 10 in Bangkok it's most likely mine. |

Haha I highly doubt that. Probably got a dressing down and some other type of punishment but definitely not stripped of rank. Frankly they can get "fired" from their job first (sent to work in the Dorms as a monitor or some other crappy job until they get a new assignment somewhere else) and still not lose rank. |

A guy I knew would get into tourette's mode after drinking too much and swear randomly at people. One time he did it in Hongdae to some gyopos who could actually understand what he was saying and earned himself a black eye. He deserved that one. |

last summer i saw a scruffy wae-guk stumbling down side street of itaewon swilling his large bottle of hite. he stopped, placed his bottle on the ground near the wall of a building and proceeded to piss on the wall and a good amount on/into his bottle. zipped up, picked up his bottle, took a generous swig and continued to stagger down the road. |
