How easy is it to get a day off at a hagwon if needed. I know that you have take vacation at a specified time each year, but what if family comes to visit and you want to spend a day with them. Or if you need to do a visa run to Japan. Can you ask for a day off.

Newbies don't make visa runs any more and hakwons don't give personal time (as a rule).
